I was standing with a few people in a open area in a woodland cleaning. We saw a meteor streaking across the sky and it went down all the way down to a stream or pond or some standing body of water. When it hit the water we looked at it for a second then I said to stay back until it cools off. I was worried that it would explode because of thermal shock
